These blog spots are a cool way to explore and share like interests such as photography. My primary job is in Telecommunications. But as I near retirement, I’m looking to branch out into one or more of my hobbies such as Photography or Aviation. My blogs are another means of sharing my interests with anyone who wishes, so enjoy and leave comments if you see something you like, Thanks! My wife and I also started a BlogSpot called creativecanning. This website will help people understand canning by using photographs, recipes and instructions. Canning is what folks use to do many years ago to store up their seasonal veggies. Canning can go into a lot more than just canning jams, jellies and veggies. We have gotten into canning complete meals that include meat. It’s a really cool way to save a lot of money for your family. You can buy in bulk when you find a good sale and the canning allows you store your food without refrigeration. It’s also great for the family on the go, all you need to do is “Heat and Eat”. Anyway, I think it’s a great way to save money and have fun in the process. I also enjoy taking all of the photographs to document the process.

Congratulations Steve on your College Graduation. I wish I could have been there to be with you. I know you have worked really hard both in your job and getting your degree. I remember when you decided to join the Air Force after High School and I thought you were making a mistake. But you proved that you can accomplish any task as long as you have a good attitude and work hard. You always seemed to have your goals in sharp focus. I’m sure that whatever you strive for in life, you will be successful.

I’m currently writing this letter from Hawaii. I will be here on the Big Island for the next six nights. I will take some pictures and share them with your Dad who can forward them to you via email. I will be flying back to Los Angeles this coming Sunday. I spend Sunday night in LA and then fly to Quantico Virginia FBI training center for a two week school. The school is two week course on Land Navigation. They are going to teach us how to use a compass and GPS. I know, it sounds nuts, but you never turn down a chance to improve yourself, especially when it does not cost anything.

Once again, congrats on your College Degree and I hope to see you and your family again someday soon. Have a great day in Florida land.
